How does climate change affect Western Canada’s energy producers?

Is Global Warming an alarming environmental wake up call for mankind or is it the biggest money scam of all time? Are you a Denier, a believer or a bystander? Under the current pressure, should the oil industry known in environmental circles as “Big Oil” run for the hills and close up shop, or should they make a firm stand against the movement or adapt and just go along for the ride? Is the environmental movement the new religion of the times? How do all these factors affect Western Canada and its energy based economy?

 

Alberta’s Hydrogen Economy – the New Energy of Alberta

Other than vast Oil, Gas and Agriculture reserves, Alberta with proper leadership could also lead in the new future of energy. Hydrogen produced from clean coal will be the futures energy of choice, clean, abundant, profitable and secure. Multiple billions of dollars have already been spent on development. This new single energy source could fuel your house, workplace, car, laptop and cell phone. Alberta needs a leader to fast track this new energy source to benefit all Albertans.

Alberta’s High-Tech Infrastructure

Alberta’s high-tech infrastructure has a good start with the Alberta high speed communications super-net. Alberta, other than new schools and hospitals needs the framework or backbone of roads and rail to be expanded and as high-tech as the super-net to fuel Alberta’s future prosperity.

During the cold war in the Soviet Union you heard of stories where grain crops rotted in the fields because there was not a sufficient infrastructure system to get their product to market. The Soviet military had to pitch in to transport grain to the cities. This must have been embarrassing for them; however Alberta is going down the same road unless something is done about the outdated hydrocarbon transport system.

New rail and pipeline systems need to be built now. Alberta needs a leader to recognize this problem and address it.

Western Canada – the Future Leader in Clean Energy

Clean Coal – Coal Gasification – IGCC – Why it’s better than Bio-Fuels, ethanol and Nuclear

There is an easy solution to the energy producing global warming dilemma, the answer has been around for over fifty years and is cost effective, reliable, green and not dependent on unstable foreign countries. Other than saving the planet, Clean Coal technology is the responsible and economically smart way to proceed. This technology has many benefits and minimal downfalls as compared to renewable, bio-fuels and nuclear energy creation sources.

Alberta’s independence in Canada

Now more than ever Alberta needs to stand up for its independence within Canada. With the federal Liberals trying to think of things to hinder and steal (or they use the word share) Alberta riches, Alberta needs to protect itself. The rest of Canada watches Alberta and are envious, as they should be, Alberta has worked hard to become economically successful and the new Premier of Alberta needs to protect Alberta’s economy and Albertans way of life.  Its time for Alberta to stop being pushed around and stand up for it rights. New Alberta Tax System

The current tax system in Canada is inefficient and backward. Not only are taxes to high and complicated but they are paid to the wrong government.  See “New Alberta Tax System” plan detailed below.

Invite Canadian territories to join Alberta

Invite the Northwest and Yukon territories to join Alberta, making Alberta the largest land jurisdiction and the economic powerhouse of Canada. The Territories have an unknown untapped potential like no other in Canada. Diamonds, natural gas, timber, fresh water and many other natural resources still undiscovered. Equalization – why it’s bad for Canada

Equalization in Canada is severely misunderstood by Canadians and most politicians. Provincial leaders after studying the issue actually become more confused, take for example Danny Williams of Newfoundland. The reason equalization is so confusing is because the concept and formula is so complex, even experts have a hard time figuring it out.
