NWTInvite the Northwest and Yukon territories to join Alberta, making Alberta the largest land jurisdiction and the economic powerhouse of Canada. The Territories have an unknown untapped potential like no other in Canada. Diamonds, natural gas, timber, fresh water and many other natural resources still undiscovered. Albertans can take advantage of this great potential to the benefit of both Alberta and the Territories.  See the “Invite Canadian territories to join Alberta” section plan detailed below.

Albertans can take advantage of this great potential, let’s do it before Ontario or Quebec gets the same Idea. At first it would be negotiated in secret so the federal government and the rest of Canada are not alienated. Once announced, other provinces will be regretting that they did not think of it first.

Why would someone in the Territories want to join Alberta? Because Alberta will make them an offer they can not refuse. The federal government and the ROC will be irate, but once in motion could not be repealed.

The Plan – Alberta Territories
1. Offer residents and companies operating in the territories a 3 year provincial income tax free period; call it a northern harsh environment benefit.

2. Give each resident a check for two thousand dollars to entice and join the Alberta Advantage. The sparse population of the territories will make the cost affordable.

3. All northern residents and businesses will receive two percent of all GDP produced in the new Alberta Territory divided equally for the first year.

Currently the territories consider themselves second rate Canadians not belonging to a province and the benefits provincial success can bring. Currently Canada quietly abuses and unjustly benefits from its economy.

The advantages for Alberta doing this are endless like future royalty payments and Alberta will benefit for many decades to come.

  1. Great job. Thanks your. :)

  2. It occurs to me at this point that Ottawa, coalition co-ordinators and House of Commons
Does not have the best interest of “Canada” as we in the west may regard our land to be.

Sometimes I get the feeling that ever since we have had representation from the west in
Ottawa the East has tried to undermine the politicians we send forth. Now a minority
Government was voted in with Harper as PM and yet the “BLOC” can help vote him
Out ( we can’t even vote in this party) As Rex Murphy says “BANANA REPUBLIC”
    Politics…

If coalition comes to pass we will be sending money trucks east again, probably to stop
In Quebec and eaten up by separist cause..Ducette says” I will only do what is in
Quebecs best interest and what the Quebec people want me to do ” Does that
Sound like in Canada’s best interest ???

A really scary future, already the stock market is falling, I imagine all foreign
Investors will pull out with impending political chaos. We lost a lot of rights after
September 11…what might we lose next in this anarchistic climate.

There was a time when westeners entertained joining the United States,
At least American politics offer referendums a step closer to democracy
Than what we are facing here. We in the west have a lot to offer,
Wealthy in natural resources…fishing, logging, oil and tourist industry…we would
be on the other side of NAFTA agreement…benefit side.

  3. GO USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
